Authorities of the
University College
Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, are now at a crossroads over the location of relations of an accident victim who is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
The man, said to have been brought to the hospital unconscious, alongside four others—three men and a woman—involved in a road accident along Old Ife Rad, Ibadan, was still unconscious at the time the Nigerian Tribune called at the hospital.
The accident, according to the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Mr. Kunle Atinwore, was said to have occurred on Sunday morning and involved a commercial cab which the victims boarded from Gate and was heading towards Adegbayi.
Atinwore further disclosed that due to his unconscious state, the identity of the victims as well as other relevant information to locate his relations could not be obtained.
When the Nigerian Tribune got to the Accident and Emergency ward of the hospital, the man, who should be in his late 20s and said to have sustained a head injury in the accident, was found breathing with the support of oxygen.
