Jos GTB operations manager murdered

Tragedy struck on Friday in Jos ,capital of Plateau State, when some men suspected to be hired assassins killed the Operations Manager of Guarantee Trust Bank, Mrs. Victoria Ajura Omagbogu, in a barbaric manner.

A source close to the residence of the deceased near Vital Foam at an Industrial Layout told Sunday Tribune that late Mrs. Omagbogu was trailed to her residence by men suspected to be hired assassins after she closed from work at about 7P.M. on Friday.

It was gathered that the men numbering about six, trailed Mrs. Omagbogu to her abode and pumped bullets into her vehicle before she could come out andthey disappear before people could know what was going on.

When Sunday Tribune got to the scene of the unfortunate incident on Saturday, the residence of the deceased was crowded with sympathisers who thronged the house to sympathise with the family.

The husband of the deceased, Mr. Godwin Omagbogu and other family members were completely dazed over the unfortunate incident that befell the mother of the house and could not offer any explanation regarding the calamity.

A family member ,who spoke with Sunday Tribune on condition of anonymity, said the husband had earlier stated that he and other members of the family had forgiven those behind the dastardly act.
