Mexico, Korea clash in Bauchi

AS Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Memorial Stadium, Bauchi hosts its second match of the on-going FIFA U-17 World Cup today, Mexico and Korea will lock horns in the knock-out stage of the competition with the two sides expressing confidence of emerging victorious and proceed to the next stage.

Chief coach of the Korean national U-17 team, Lee Kwan Chong shortly after the team’s training session yesterday said, “we are not afraid of any team at this stage of the competition and no team, not even Mexico can be on our way to winning the cup this time around.”

Kwan Chong who spoke through an interpreter added that his lads are physically and mentally ready to do battle with Mexico pointing out that whatever results their opponent polled in the group stage of the competition is not in any way a threat to them.

According to him, “no nation is a push over in the game of football, it is only at the end of the 90 minutes of the game.” The Korean chief tactician then assured that his boys will play a game of their lives as the positive out come of the match will tell which stage the boys will get to just as he appealed to the Bauchi football fans to come out and support his boys promising that the will watch a free flow soccer artistry.
