Fundamental laws of success!

The kingdom of God is a kingdom of law and order. Every goal has laws that guide its fulfilment. Engaging the right law frees you from the wrong one. You can’t have good success without engaging the right laws.
This week, I will be showing you one of the fundamental laws of success — imagination. It is a vital key in the school of success. Imagination is the formation of a mental image of something that is neither perceived as real, nor present to the senses. It is fundamental to success, because as a person thinks, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). You are what you think!
For you to be a success in life, you must first think success; you must see success as attainable. God knew this law and that was why He commanded Abraham to look as far as his eyes could see (Genesis 13:14-15). Abraham could not have seen much with his physical eyes. What God meant was, as far as he could see with his mind’s eye or his imagination. All that Abraham imagined or saw that day, became his portion.
What you think is what determines what you become. If as a student, you have imagined failure in your heart before an examination, you will definitely fail. Imagination is the pacesetter for your destination. It is one the vital laws of the Spirit.
To enjoy good success, therefore, God’s Word should be the basis of your thought life. This is because God is committed to every positive imagination you have. God’s Word has formed my thought pattern, and I pray it will form yours as well. Form good pictures about your future from of God’s Word. Think positive thoughts, think success! As you operate this law, good success won’t elude you. Amen!
Friend, for you to operate this law, you must first be God’s child. You become His child by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. If you are set for it, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Today, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! I will show you another success kit next week!

’Divine turning point’

Dear Reader,
Lazarus: Though
he knew God, he
lived a rather wretched life of a beggar on earth. But immediately he died, he began to enjoy eternal happiness in heaven (Luke 16:22). This marked the ’Divine turning point’ in his own life.
Therefore, we must understand and believe that every situation from God has a divine purpose and blessing. Our duty as God’s children, pilgrims on earth and candidates of heaven, is to trust God for the best, work hard, pray always, and lead an honest life that is pleasing to God.
Paul: Before his conversion to Christianity, he was known and called Saul. He persecuted and killed many Christians both in Jerusalem and throughout Judea with intense hatred and uncontrolled violence. But one day as he was travelling to Damascus to persecute Christians, Paul had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 9:1-6). When Paul met Jesus, he found the One with the reason for living and dying, and he totally sold out for Christ. This was Paul’s own ’Divine turning point’. Hence, apart from Jesus Christ Himself, no other person shaped the history of Christianity like Apostle Paul.
Therefore, are you willing to let God do the same for you? You will never know all He can do with you until you allow Him to have all that you are! Whether you are young or old, male or female, educated or illiterate, rich or poor, God can turn your life around for good, if only you are ready to surrender completely to Him. You must repent genuinely from your sins to God and have absolute faith in Christ Jesus. You must lead a life of total obedience to the commandments of God, in holiness of character; and regular in-filling of the Holy Spirit. You must be a born again child of God, and a worthy ambassador of Christ in your family, your neighbourhood and your workplace. And finally, you must not be just a dormant, nominal church goer, but an active Christian, in sacrificing your time, money and energy for the progress of God’s work on earth, as our heavenly investments, as we eagerly await the imminent Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I fervently pray that we shall be able to appropriate God’s promises of ’Divine turning point’ for maximum success in life and eternal salvation of our soul, in Jesus’ name—Amen.
