Ogun State loses first Attorney General

The first attorney-general and commissioner of justice in Ogun state,Honourable Justice Dahunsi Olugbemi Coker is dead.
According to a statement issued by the managing directror of BTAS Communications,Bola Oludairo in Lagos,the late judge passed on on April 10,2008 at the age of 86.
Among the positions he held while alive included the position of judge of the supreme court from 1984 to 1987,judge of the federal court of appeal from 1977 and 1984,first attorney general and commissioner of justice in Ogun state from 1976 and 1977 and judge of the high court,Western region between 1971 and 1975.
Some of the titles conferred on him while alive included the Balogun of Trinity Methodist Church,Itesi,Abeokuta and Commander of the Order of the Niger.
His burial arrangements will be announced by his family soon.
Among his children is Tinu Ogunleye,the executice director,Client Services,BTAS Communications Limited, a Lagos based advertising agency.
