Group alerts on inmminent crisis in Niger

A group, Greater Niger state Movement, has alerted that some politicians in Niger state are planning to disrupt the peaceful social order in the state for selfish reasons.

The group condemned the attempts by some politicians to undermine the leadership and administration of the Niger state Governor, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu and called on the public to support the government.

The group, in a statement signed by its Chairman Malam Danjuma Isa, alleged that there were attempts to forment crisis in the state by some unpatriotic elements that seemed “not to be comfortable with the administration of the Chief Servant.”

“We saw the attempt by this same group to manipulate the state’s legislators to destabilise the state in a bid to make the state ungovernable.
