Ronaldo Still My Idol - Pato

ALEXANDRE Pato looks forward to his first Milan derby and stands by disgraced teammate Ronaldo. “He’s still my idol.”

This week, the Rossoneri’s Brazilian contingent has been shaken by news that Ronaldo was caught up in attempted extortion by a transvestite prostitute in Rio de Janeiro.

“He is still my idol,” assured 18-year-old Pato. “He is a great friend. He’s relaxed and now just has to focus on healing his knee injury. He needs to get better and return to playing football.”

Meanwhile, ‘The Duck’ is preparing for a special occasion this Sunday as he faces Inter for the first time.

“The derby is a momentous match. I think I will play and if I do then I always focus on scoring goals to help Milan win and to celebrate with the heart sign.”

Pato has been struggling with a mysterious muscular problem over the past few weeks, but is back to full fitness.

“I am a little happier now, but will be even more so if we can finish the season in fourth place and qualify for the Champions League,” he continued.

“What is my dream? To be a great player, win the Ballon d’Or and become a real champion with Milan.”
