Zamfara Speaker Loses Five Aides

Assembly, has lost five of his house aides in a motor accident on Gusau- Funtua road on their way to Kano.
The accident occurred at Sheme village on Funtua road when the vehicle, a Peugeot 406, in which they were travelling, ran into a truck and caught fire instantly. All the five were reportedly burnt.
The aides were Amina Mino, Hadiza Yarka-duna, Rukkayya Abdullahi, Balkisu Buhari, and their driver, Mallam Adamu.
Unconfirmed sources told the Saturday Tribune that when the news of their death reached the Speaker, he fainted and had to be resuscitated at a private hospital after some hours.
In the meantime, all the victims had been buried according to Islamic rites, while sympathisers still throng the House.
