AC Members in UK Hold Congress To Elect New Officers

THE United Kingdom chapter of the Action Congress will on Sunday hold its congress where members of the new executive committee of the party will emerge.

Three weeks ago, two factions of the party in the UK had closed ranks by dissolving their respective executives with a view to forming a common front.

Already, the national secretariat of the party in Abuja , Nigeria, has forwarded the nomination forms to the UK chapter for sale to members of the party interested in contesting for the party offices.

In a letter signed by the Administrative Secretary of the AC, Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman, which was dated April 22, the national secretariat of the AC said it would only deal with the executive committee which emerges from the Sunday’s congress.
