Cultists Kill Two, Wound Many In Ogoni

At least, two persons were reported killed while several others were injured at Baranyonwa Dere, Gokana Local Government area of Rivers State on Thursday evening when a gang of hoodlums attacked a community checkpoint.

Saturday Tribune learnt that trouble started when a group of about six youths, on motorbikes who were suspected to be on a mission to eliminate someone, were stopped by the youths of B-Dere at the checkpoint.

The said bandits, who were said to be armed with all sorts of weapons, allegedly opened an attack on the community policemen who were at the checkpoint, killing Burabari Kpenu from K-Dere and Nenniibarini Naanee from B-Dere while wounding others.
