Olofinjana seeks Wolves’ focus

02.05.2008

WOLVESHAMPTON Wanderers ace Seyi Olofinjana insists his mates must focus on ensuring they keep their side of the bargain in Sunday’s season finale against Plymouth.

Wanderers need to win and rely on either Watford or Crystal Palace slipping up to reach the play-offs and after failing to take full advantage of the pair’s slip-ups last weekend, the Nigerian is well aware this is their final chance.

He told the Express & Star: “As players we will only be thinking about our game and we don’t want to get carried away with what is happening in other games.

“If we dive in there on the last day then we want to make it count. It would be the best feeling in the world and if we got in there we would want to take every opportunity.

“We would want to take the chance and I would fancy us to do well - if we can get in there. It has been a really tough league and everything has gone to the wire.

“It’s been a really good for the league, for the country and for the fans. We just need to focus on Plymouth .”
