Photo: Getty Images FOR Nigeria to realise its dream of featuring at the next World Cup, South Africa 2010, the first to be held in Africa, the Super Eagles head coach, Shaibu Amodu must adopt a winning tactical formation for the team's remaining matches in the qualifying series.
Speaking on Tuesday on a Lagos-based radio station, Super Eagles assistant captain, Joseph Yobo, said the team had to win its next three matches, noting that for this to be achieved, Amodu had a big job to do in ensuring that the Eagles played tactics that would give them good results.
"For us to win our next three matches, we must get the correct method with which we will fight the battle and whatever happens at the end happens," the Everton defender said, adding, "I believe coach Amodu has to plan a good formation which will take us to South Africa."
Yobo predicted that the return encounter against Tunisia in September in Abuja would be tough but with the support of Nigerians, the Eagles would overcome the Tunisians.
"I know it is going to be tough in our own home but we need the support of the fans to get to South Africa. I don't think we are going to have any problem, with the maximum support, we are winning the games," he said.
The Eagles are second on Group B with five points, trailing Tunisia's Carthage Eagles who are leading with seven points.
