Daniel hosts Chinese governor, 40 CEOs today

State governorOgun State governor, Chief Gbenga Daniel, will, today, host the Governor of Zhejiang Province, China, Mr. Lu Zushan, and about 40 chief executive officers in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The visit, according to a statement signed by the economic adviser to the Governor, Ms. Yosola Akinbi, was part of the efforts by the Daniel-led administration to boost the economy of the state.

The delegation, during the visit, is expected to inspect some industrial sites in the state. The statement described it as a wonderful opportunity for businessmen from both Ogun State and the country at large to explore business opportunities.

The governor’s aide noted that the visit was a credit to Governor Daniel's progressive economic policies, urging businessmen “to leverage fully from it.”

Companies expected during the visit include Zhejiang Orient Engineering Company Limited, Zhejiang Noble Lift Equipment Join Stock Company, Zhejiang International Investment Promotion Centre, XIZI United Holding Corporation, Wolong Holding Group and Zhejiang Sifang Group Corporation.

Others are Hailang Group Company Limited, Zhejiang Provincial Energy Company Limited, Furun Holding Company Limited, Zhejiang Neoglory Holding Group Company Limited, Yuemei Group Company Limited and Zhejiang International Business Group Company Limited.

She noted that the companies were top-flight ones which deal in turnkey power projects with unparalleled technical training abilities and after-sales services.

She disclosed further that the companies expected on the trip were those with expertise in machine tools, steel construction, financial investment, metal and minerals, medical and health products, native produce and animal by-products, copper processing, real estate, education, plastic tube processing and hotel management.

“Other areas to be covered by the delegation include agriculture, ecology, pharmaceutical herbs, aquatic products, vegetables, meat processing, textile spinning, weaving and embroidering, while research and development would be accorded its pride of place,” she added.
