Opara dumps Kaiserslautern for Etoile

Nigerian striker Emeka Opara has returned to Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel from German side Kaiserslautern.

Opara has been at German second division Kaiserslautern since December 2006, but has signed a new one-and-a-half-year deal with Etoile.

According to the Etoile website, the 23-year-old Nigerian will be ready to play for the club in time for the start of the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup should it beat local rival Esperance to qualify.

Those group stages begin on August 15, five days after the start of the Tunisian league.

Opara will replace the Ghana striker Moussa Narry, who signed for the French club Auxerre last week.
