FA Cup: Kanu, Utaka remain focused - Redknapp

Portsmouth boss, Harry Redknapp insists Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu, his compatriot, John Utaka and their mates at St James' Park have not allowed their minds to wander to the FA Cup final in recent games.

The Redknapp men are scheduled to face Championship side, Cardiff FC at the Wembley Stadium on May 17.

"Winning at Wembley is all that matters now but the players have not been distracted by the FA Cup final as far as I can see," Redknapp said.

"The only time I've heard them talk about it was when a bloke came to the training ground the other week to measure them for the suits we'll be wearing on the day.”

Contrary to the manager's comment, Nigerian international John Utaka dreams of sharing the FA Cup glory with his family as he told The Mail that he wanted to have members of his family at the Wembley to watch him in the final game.

"It will be a great occasion, so it is my plan to bring a team of 11 of my family over. I need to find all the tickets for my mother and father, my two sisters, two brothers and close friends," the former Rennes of France forward said.
