CHAIRMAN,
Sports Committee of the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, Katsina and member of the NIPOGA council, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Musa has said that Northerners will continue to dominate ball games in the country.
In an interview with Tribunesports, Musa pointed out that from the coaches to the players and the administrators, the watchword remains commitment.
"We are dominating the ball games as you are aware and there is no magic behind it. It is purely commitment. From the players to the coaches and everybody involved, we are committed to the game and it will remain so."
He also appealed to institutions to always parade eligible students in inter-collegiate Games adding that, the idea of using mercenaries should be discarded henceforth.
"Participation is most important and it should not be a do-or- die affair. It is not helpful that because you must win, you will now go and hire mercenaries. It is not good for the Games," he said.
