EFCC re-arraigns Kalu

Former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, was re-arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday at a Federal High Court Abuja.

The former governor was arraigned on a-112 count charge filed against him by the EFCC, but was subsequently granted bail by Justice Adamu Abdullahi after pleading not guilty to the charges against him.

In the charge before the court, Kalu was accused of stealing N3.1 billion belonging to the Abia State government.
