Wema Bank boss assures workers of job security

THE acting Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank, Mr. John Aboh, has assured staff members of the bank of the security of their jobs.

He also enjoined them to make efforts at providing quality services to customers. In a statement made available to the Nigerian Tribune on Thursday, Aboh, who was seconded from his desk as the Executive Director, Banking Operations and Services, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, said the intervention of the regulatory authorities in the bank was primarily to ensure that its affairs were run in a safe and sound manner.

He said “no individual or group of individuals would be witch-hunted. There was no witch-hunting of any individual by the regulators.”
